Since 1994 the College has been providing Educational Courses for many 1000's of International Students. The College student body is a diverse mixture of nationalities from all over the world.
 


FETAC (the Further Education and Training Awards Council) is the national awarding body for  further education and training in Ireland. Programmes leading to FETAC awards at Levels 1 to 6 of the National Framework of Qualifications are offered nationwide by Approved Providers.

The College was Established in 1994 by the Director, Mr. Gerry Byrne.


From the early days, the College Motto has been “Training for the Future”.

Particular emphasis is placed upon STUDENT WELFARE, and the Colleges provides many supports and services for the students.

Pastoral Care

The Students at the College have Access to the Director and Staff on a formal and informal basis. Many supports to the Students are available, eg. Counselling Services, Formal Communication Briefings, Informal contacts, as well as One to One meetings with the Director and Staff. Assistance is also given to the Student with Accomodation related issues, provision for letters for Bank Account, Assistance with CV prepararion and finding a part time job, as well as exam related issues, appeals, etc.

The lecturers at Advance Training have practical experience in the courses they teach. The lecturers set clear achievable goals for each student to ensure confidence in the students' chosen field of study. Feedback from Course Participants is seen as an essential core value in Course Delivery. Feedback questionnaires are used to gauge student progress.

Quality Assurance

The College has a comprehensive Quality Assurance system in place in order to ensure a high level of course delivery, assessment procedures, appeals, health and safety, communication, staff training and equality issues, as well as clearly defined procedures for protection of learners and progression to higher education levels.

Overall the welfare of the Student is paramount at Advance Training International College.

Student surveys and feedback are undertaken at regular intervals, in order to ensure clear communication and to ensure student  satisfaction.
